SPhTI has a powerful test facility for conducting various sorts of characteristic tests for products under development:
Experimental vacuum electronic stand for thermal and electrophysical testing of thermionic converters, as well as their elements and units
Vacuum chamber size: 1500 mm in diameter and 2500 mm high.
Interstitial gas pressure in the vacuum chamber 10-4 mm of mercury
Interstitial gas pressure in the product item 10-7 mm of mercury.
Self-contained system of water cooling.
High current source 0-300 A.
Total power of thermal radiators 40 kWt
